蛋白G是從鏈球菌分離的免疫球蛋白結合蛋白，主要通過Fc區與哺乳動物igg結合。天然蛋白G有3個IgG結合域以及白蛋白和細胞表面結合位點。我們的重組蛋白G是在沒有白蛋白結合域的情況下產生的。蛋白G對大多數哺乳動物的IgG有很強的親和力，包括所有的人類IgG亞類（IgG1、IgG2、IgG3和IgG4），還包括兔、小鼠和山羊IgG。與葡萄球菌蛋白a相比，蛋白G與IgG亞類的結合范圍更廣。在蛋白NH2末端的半個結構域被發現與人血清白蛋白（HSA）結合。ProteinMod重組蛋白G瓊脂糖已被設計為缺乏白蛋白結合域以減少非特異性結合。另外，在N端有一個6x組氨酸標簽。將重組蛋白G共價鍵合到6%瓊脂糖微球上，制備了該產品。數量是指100%的珠子體積。
